George performed this as encore in his NEC solo Recital on June 11, 2009.
George has had a great success in his recital concert yesterday. Williams Hall was completely packed with warm hearted music lovers - teachers and friends, and they gave George a standing ovation as encouragement.
We are extremely grateful to George's Piano Teacher Ms. Byun, George's music mentor Maestro Churchill, George's guardian angel Ms. Cathy Chen, Piano Department Chair Ms. Roth, Chamber Music coach Ms. Blustein, Music Theory Chair Mr. Larry Bell, Conductor Maestro Zander, Piano Seminar Teacher Mr. Rivera, and all the great teachers in the Prep School of New England Conservatory.
We would also like to thank Mrs. Dorothy Shi and Mr. Chengzong Yin, who have built a strong solid piano foundation for George.
We would like to express our deepest appreciation to George's Mother-Music-School -- The Prep School of NEC, where he acquires all his music knowledge and where he received careful nurture toward a young piano artist.
We thank all of those who attended the concert - your appearance has been the great honor of the Li family!
